i notice that my dvd sound is lower than my tuner or video. is there a way i can get them to be the same volume? i prefer the tuner and video cause it can get louder. i tried messing with the audio settings already, eq, etc. i cant figure anything out.

If its a kenwood you have to adjust the audio for all sources. Radio,cd,sat radio...etc. Not sure if you are talking kenwood but if you are hope that helps

I did read in the manual (on the 7017) that there are settings you can adjust per audio source. That may be the cause of the low(er) volume when playing dvds.

i figured it out. it still doesnt match the volume of each source exactly the same but its the best i can do. you just gotta adjust each source through the equalizer to your personal liking. but the main thing that kinda adjust the volume of each source is the volume offset. you can set this for each source as well. i had to turn my tuners and videos volume offset all the way down to try to match the dvd. i dont know why i cant adjust the volume offset to be higher but i just lowered the others to match the dvd and adjust the equalizer for each source.

Could you explain how to do this in detail? Thanx
