Default Too Bad

It's too bad that the Valentine 1 does not work as well as EVERYONE says it does. Nowadays they use Laser, so by the time you are driving 1/4 mile away they already have you. I bought a Valentine 1 (v1) when they pay off your first speeding ticket. That was how confident they were. I don't know if they are still doing that, but when I bought it, it was like that. I used to live in Washington (Bremerton) and all cops around used laser. There are a lot of states switching from Radar to Laser, because of radar dectors. IMO, do not buy one, you will end up selling it just like me and lose money. There are websites out there that sell laser veil or laser "repellent". how you use the "laser repellent".... ill just send you a link of an example. http://www.laserveil.com/

Yep, Washington State Patrol has switched over to mainly using laser. Even if you have a radar detector that detects laser, you can (I did) get a ticket by laser, because the response is instant. So the same second that your detector goes off, is the same second that the cop has your speed. It doesn't matter the brand. I received a pretty cheap radar detector a while back, which has done just fine, but I'm saving up to get a Laser Jammer that is legal and proven to work.

a radar detector works just as well for POP. x, k, ka, and laser as long as you use it as an aid and not a crutch... i have the escort 9500i (basically number 2 to the V1) it has saved my ___ on a lot of tickets and its always nice to know when cops are around.

though it is odd for you to get laser if its not on your car, it is possible to pick it up and that could be the one time it saves you...

if it prevents one ticket it pays for itself, imo.

but yeah, speeding is bad; drive the speed limit.
