Default Valentine V1 vs. Escort 9500i

so after 1 ticket on the freeway, i decided to get a radar detector,i cheaped out and got 30 dollar Cobra one at Frys, and i kept getting false alerts in the city, so i ignored it, and then i got a ticket last Wednesday

Stupid motorcycle pig "Lidar" gun me (laser) for going 46 in a 30 zone. (now i know why all the cars started braking while i was changing lanes... i'm not a daily speeder btw)

so now I'm thinking v1 or 9500i, i hear lots of good reviews for v1 cause of the arrows, but it gets tons of annoying false alerts in the city, but the escort can save those false alerts on gps, but it doesn't have the arrows

Would you prefer to have the V1 being over sensitive?
or
Would you have the GPS Escort without the arrows?

(btw any SL deals? i been looking on eBay and already PM NGAmotorsports)

Once you go cheap, you learn!

so I'd say that 9500i would be very good. GPS is nice, but what happens when the cops move their location 2 blocks up the road? How about the Escort w/out the GPS?

If you do a search someone did post up a radar test comparison chart before. It shows all the current detectors and how far they pick up different radar bands. That should help you decide. personally I'd go with Bel or Escort (same company now)
