first off, if you buy that alarm you won't get the installation manual. Authorized dealers have it and normally won't give you a copy (last time i checked they didn't). But luckily I have one You're looking at at least 15-20 wires, anywhere from the door wires to the ignition for remote start, tach wire, horn wire (optional), trunk latch wire, clutch wire if manual, key security bypass wire, i think i got most of them.

True, I guess since it's a few years old now it's practically common knowledge. But it was a pain when it came out to get.

short run/ turbo-

Short run turbo mode keeps the engine running after arriving at your destination for a programmable period of 1, 3, 5, or 10 minutes. This allows the system's time to conveniently cool down the turbo after you have left the vehicle.
To activate:

1: Park the vehicle and set parking brake.

2: Remove your foot from the brake pedal and leave the engine running.

3: Press and release the( * ) and the (AUX) buttons at the same time.

4: The lights will flash to indicate the remote start has entered short run turbo mode.

5: Turn off the key, the engine will keep running.

6: The engine will turn off after the programmed run time.

does this help???

hey what extra parts do you need to buy to install the remote start and alarm on a tC ? I need a immobilizer bypass don't i? but what is the exact model number? And do I need to buy anything to get the door locks to work properly?

a few questions about the short run /turbo.. do you have to do that everytime you are about to get out of the car? and you dont have to have a turbo to run that option, right?
