what size fuse should i use for cold cathode, power wire?

Default what size fuse should i use for cold cathode, power wire?

i am going to be running 4 cathodes off of 2 or maybe 3 transformers, what fuse size should i be using? i got some 10 amp ones. i am kind if new to this so if there is any missing info please let me know and i will try supply u guys w/ that info. thanks.

3 amp fuse should be fine.

each cathode kit (2 tubes) pulls about .7 amps of power.

thanks. i used the 10 amp and it seems to work fine, i am going to be running 4 tubes off of 2 maybe 3 transformers.

that 10 amp isn't going to protect anything, but whatever works for you.

as a comparison, i'm running 23 LED's and 6 12" cathode tubes through a 3 amp fuse just fine.

05FMtC I would go with a three amp fuse. You want the smallest amp fuse possible to provide the most protection. I'm running 8 cathode & led tubes, and 8 single leds.

ok ill go out n pull the 10 amp now and get the 3 amp ones tom
