They're for any options that need to turned on or off. Like in my car I have a switch for my interior light, and a switch for my fog lights. Also I know another option that used one of those switch holes was for bluetooth hands free calling. That being said those are pretty standard sized switch holes meaning you can run a switch there to run just about anything.

No, I mean OEM. Factory. What would they need those for? Scion security yes. What else. Why is there 4?

He's right. One was for OEM fogs. If you got the dealer offered interior lights then that was one. I'm not sure about the bluetooth, I didn't know that was an option.

I dont really care for what their for but they do come in handy and I love them there. Most people use them for switches to lights(Underglow, stobes, interior, engine, ect.) I wired my foglights, halos, and interior lights. I need to fill one more up

I like that. I'll just imagine that instead of the truth which is these Michigan roads are slowly eating away at my car.

You can also use these to mount your Super Pursuit mode button or Turbo Boost mode button.

Well, I was considering getting the flux capacitor or Mr Fusion and putting switches there but now I'm leaning toward installing my vibrating dong switch there. There's a high switch, low switch, and of course for random excitability, an "intermittent" option. Just like wipers. Hmm maybe I could tap into the wiper relay!

there were 3 main things offered from Scion that could've been there:
scion security, fogs, and the illumination switch.

the bluetooth is more dealership offered and i would not count that as a "factory option"

but you can pretty much use the spots for anything.. i got switches and even more spare switches if anyone wants to buy some that fits in those spots.. you can use them for whatever.
