Default Wink Mirror *help*

wassup guys I purchased my wink mirror about a year now and I had to make a custom bracket to reach the visor holes. A year passes and overtime the mirror's are starting to bend down the middle (From the back it looks like its smiling) lol about 2 weeks ago I was headed to walmart and while leavin my house the passenger bracket breaks off lol luckily my friend caught it just in time before it hit me. I wanna know if there's any wink mirror owners on these boards and how did you guys get your mirrors to fit like how it supposed to from the factory.

Cut a piece of aluminum angle and screw it to the mirror (the whole length). It will keep it from bending. Use angle with sharp inside corner so it sits flush against the mirror:

I went all out custom with one on my xB:

Don't know why you needed custom brackets. Just take the visors off and use the hardware they gave you to bolt it up.

Thats the thing, the hardware that came with the mirrors didn't reach the holes where I unscrewed the visors from. It came up short.

I have this exact same problem, any update on this? I can't seem to find any retail product in stores that comes with a mount that fits on a tC 2008.

I just went to home depot and bought some bracket things. Cant remember the name but its like a piece of metal with holes in it. Just get the 6 inch ones. They come in a set of 2. You also use the angles brackets that came with the mirror. It also allows you to keep your visors.
