Wiring LEDS to on/off switch
This is prob a noob question, but i want to hook up all my interior LEDS ( footwell LEDs, cupholder LEDs, and airvent LEDs) to 1 or 2 on/off switches on the panel where theres open spaces left of the steering wheeel. Now for me to do this, im confused on how to wire them. If im not mistaken, i would take the power wire and ground to the on off switch, then from the on off switch the LED correct?
So it would look like this...
(Power and ground cords) ------> [ on off switch ] -----> (LED)
correct? THis confused me though because my on off switches, they only had 2 tiny prongs with circles cut out for wires... i dont think it was enough to have wires coming to and from it...
thanks for the help

Yeah, only the power goes through the switch. You always want the minus (black) lead of the LED connected to ground. The switch just controls when power is given to the LED.
Also, this might be over your head, but since it sounds like you have several LEDs you want to connect to the same switch, be careful how you wire them up. You'll want them to all be in parallel, so your wiring would be something like this:
power --> switch (split several ways) ---> Individual wires going to each LED
ground --> each LED - lead
