its not horrible, but its the add ons that make a big screen double din awesome. I have yet to se a perfect one, ill put it that way >=)

I say thats probably a great deal.

Motorized and bluetooth alone at 200ish is fantastic.

I hate people who dont like "cheap" brands. Jensen radios will surprise you. The surprised the hell out of me.

Ive used great brands to ex crossfire,rockford,PPI,directed,us amps,pioneer head units, clarion,alpine.(yes I know there are supreme brands like Brax,audison,etc,but im talking about stuff that we can all afford)
The Jensen was almost as good as the Pioneer at SQ.

If the internal amp doesnt sound that great get some amps.

I say good deal.

Well I like pioneer ,isnt that what audio is all about?
Finding what fits you best and in your budget?
Some people like alot of sq and some people like alot of spl.

I hate when people come on and give people advice to buy a $1000 head unit when the guy is on a budget.
Yes the lower end head units wont sound amazing but they will sound decent.

 

the pioneer units have never had a good background of sounding nearly as good as the alpines, thats the one thing i noticed, i went from a alpine d2 (same eq / preouts as the d3) and it sounded significantly worse than the alpine dva 7996 that i have now. JMO now

 

Oh ill agree that there is MUCH better SQ.
Id like to one day have the time to do an all out SQ install but no time right now

 

how do you not have time, sq is not like a show car hard core you an showly build it up. its not so much time as it is money
