I agree on the alcohol. I always use it to strip the paint on the ones I do. It works pretty well and doesnt cloud the plastic. And I always take the needle apart, it is easy and works much better as Trung mentioned.

I also dont use pink leds, the color filter is the better way IMO. I have yet to have a manufacturer tell me that thier pink leds will last like they should for this type of application. Two told me they wont make them due to the short life ( given the hour rating on them, I am guessing a couple of years or less in a car).

Good work Jeremy, I have done a few with blue and blue needles, and really liked the way they came out.

And to those asking, turnaround time should be 1 day if you use someone that knows what they are doing. I will vouch for Jeremy and Trung (garage and squall) for sure... as well as myself of course

 

Will taoek pics of the harness for ya man, had to test it on an xb first haha. It is coming! Also I sell the pink trranslucent vinyl on my website in the parts and kits sextion. I have two kids of pink, one a magenta hot pink and the other just "pink" I have also done quite a bit of pink latley, seems to be the hot color...

 

No problem I dont need pics. I can work with my wire n clip benchtop testing until you get time to send out the harness connector :D Just had to give you some crap....

 

Took me a little bit to make it work with the gauge cluster, 06 and 07 hvac units and also the xb hahaha.

 

By the way fellow swappers, reversing the lcd screen on the deck is rather a PITA hahaha. I need to take some headache pills...

 

Will the pricing be the same if you do pink? Just wondering cause you are using a filter and not the colored LEDs
