I got $15,200 on my trade, and talked them down from $23,900 to $21,900 on the s2k

The boosted tC was def a tad quicker

Of course! Already ordered a set of wheels:

Black w/ chrome lip, 18x8 up front, 18x9.5 in the rear and i ordered some Falken 225/40-18 tires for the front and 255/35-18's for the back. Next will be Megan Racing coilovers, SLAMMED, and a Seibon CF hood (OEM style) and CF trunk. Then just some I.C.E. stuff. The car already came with an AMUSE R1 exhaust and an AEM cold air intake.

This is an 03, and AP1. This is the 00-03 body style, from 04-07 they changed the wheels, dash, cluster, and bumpers and changed the chassis code to AP2. I'm 6'1" about 220lbs and i fit perfectly. Its snug, but i don't have problems getting in or out.

Yup, 02 EM2 turbocharged civic:

Great car, was looking at one, until I saw this:

Engine horsepower 240-hp @ 8,300 rpm
Engine torque 153 lbs.-ft. @ 7,500 rpm

I'd love Hondas if they could just keep some torque on these cars. That's the reason for slow track times. Dyno's at 204whp & 134wtq TC supercharged....versus.....s2000. Hmm, TC FTW!!! But I'm biased. Beautiful car dude, and love the yellow!

Congrats on a great car. I'm sure you've learned or will learn to ignore the people that have never driven the car before and are talking out of their ___es about the S2K.

I'm not sure about the AP1 but the AP2 does eat tires at a good clip (~8K-12K). You've already met the not-so-flat trunk. Watch for snap oversteer at the limit as well since you have the AP1. Check out Hondata as well if you want vtec to engage at a lower RPM.

Anyways, congrats on a great car.

I had to bit the bullet this time and give in to TireRack.com and their outrageous prices. It's EXTREMELY hard to find a large wheel width with an extremly high offset which the S2000 calls for. So here's the wheels i bought:

Kazera KZ-F

Front--> 18x8 +49mm offset
Rear--> 18x9.5 +55mm offset

Shortly after ordering them, TireRack called me and said that the offset in the rear is slightly aggressive and i may or maynot need to consider rolling the fenders. Blah.

nice trade. i'm going to get s2k next too once I get rich... Amuse R1 exhaust + S2k = sex on the beach! That exhaust alone costs 2K. So jealous now
