I have the DC Sports bar, I stripped it of it's finish in hopes of polishing it to match my valve cover I saw this thread and was like F^ that and bought a nicer one.

oh sweet, in that case i wouldnt runt it, you want a polished bar, id get the raceland. dont want the signed one getting damaged.

I might just hand it over my desk, with the heat I doubt it wil last long. not sure about putting a clear over it.

I don't think it would be bad to be honest, I know people running CF valve covers that are signed and is still good. kanchi I think has it

I actually don't run it, just throw it on for shows ...got scared it would ruin it.
