anything over 6000K is hard to see, really kills the purpose of getting HID's except for the color.

I think around here, it legals up to 8000k. You can get up to 14,000k but thats just blindness. I live in Irvine and I sat right in front of plenty of cops and they dont care. I like the 8000k, the light up the road really nicely and every road sign in front of me just *sparkles*

Thanks for the bumper hole tips guys. Ig you look up top, I posted some daytime pictures.

haha in irvine cops dont know anything. 8000k is really high and to hard to see. i dont think that BLUE HUE is cool at all but more of an annoyance IMO i prefer to stay in the 4000-4100k range.

in irvine if your car is modifiied but looks nice then they wunt pull u over but if your car looks cheap... the ur screwed.

i know i live in irvine, and my frend has a primered car. gets pulled over all the time.

and did you know that in irvine BUM's abd HOBO's arent allowed on city grounds

if they catch one, they will deport you to the next city... TUSTIN

Blue is for looks, you get chit for sight with the higher K's. HID's above 5000k would be considered strictly for looks, not functionality. People don't understand the blue from Mercedes Benz, BMW, Lexus, Nissan, etc. comes from the Projector, not the coloring or highest K rating of the blub...oh well people will do as they please. what has been stated above 4100k is illegal...

i've tried that before as well. i don't know what that guy is laughing at either.
It would probably work pretty well. I don't know how permanent it is, though. I'd opt for spackling putty or bondo over toothpaste.

back to the eyelids
i think that they might have looked nicer if they brought the sticker all the way down to where the hood ends. then it would be like one even line arcoss the hood to the light and around to the side....
i think i described that right!

back to the lights thems is purdy nice lookin

I think those look pretty good. The only thing I would try to change is their color. It seems they don't have the exact same shade of white as the car itself, so they stand out a little bit. If you could match the color,

yeah the color issue I'm trying to discuss with Andrew right now because in person the eyelids REALLY stand out. Only from far away does it look like they match, but I really hoped the shades were the same.

We'll see how this turns out.

I haven't heard of using toothpaste on a car before. That's new, i have heard you can use it in the house to patch holes then paint over it..interesting
