but won't the toothpaste get demolished while washing the car........or when driving in the rain?

Very mature response there, TurboMe...

Anyway, there IS a problem with using toothpaste because it will dissolve eventually -- especially when used on the front bumper.

BTW: the lids look great. I'll look into them for my silver tC. Thanks!
