I admit I do not know the inner-workings of Toyota/Scion's Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) process.

That said, I wonder if the reason a TSB hasn't been issued yet is because Scion isn't clear yet under what circumstances the creeking occurs and/or their may be mutliple reasons for the creeking to occur.

Given Toyota's passion for quality I would assume that Scion is taking their time before they come out with an offical TSB. Further assumption is that they are gathering as much information as they can at this time.

My thoughts only, nothing to substantiate this however......

can you give us the last 4-5 digits of the VIN of that tC that was missing bolts? so we can know the production sequence of that car affected.. thanks

I was wondering if anyone hears any wind coming from the moonroof. Yesterday while I was driving on the freeway I heard a flapping sound coming from the moonroof. It was closed and I think its the sealing flap, but I'm unsure. Does anyone have this same problem? It seems to happen when I go over 70. If nyone has any suggestions please do tell.

Default support beams?

giravani or whom ever else may know,

. . . i was looking in the maintainence manual and found the diagrams for the sunroof assembly.. . . .only one thing, no "support beams" . .. . .

. .are you refering to the mounting brackets? . . .please clarify . .

also, will the TSB be out soon, and if so will we have access to it?

. . .i will be doing the repair myself, i really don't like dealers. . . . .take way too long to do a job and they jerk you around too much. .

. . .well, thanx for the info

peace,
z

yep, this is how it works... together with TSB, there will be probably changes in the factory but not until everything is investigated properly...
