june to june makes sense, that's a year. do you think we could install the steering wheel with radio controls on our 05s, or will it be new unit specific?

 

well, the '06 models are going to include new head units along with the steering wheel controls/ipod connections. i would assume that just installing an '06 steering wheel in your '05 will not make the two work together because the newer head unit will probably only be compatible with the '06 steering wheel. perhaps there will be a way to retrofit both into the '05, but i wouldn't hold your breath...

 

I wanted my TC soOoOoO I wnt to a dealership and put $500 down and even they said 5-6 weeks, I couldnt wait...so finally 3 weeks later I called 12 diff dealerships to find the color I wanted....I finally found a dealership that was abt 15-20 miles away from my house....I went there saw "My Baby" ...the only problm was that I wantd just a factory plain stocked car...nothing too special...well the dealer worked with me and I was able to get the most hooked up TC done by factory I had ever seen so far....body kit all around...8" sub from Bazaooka...17" rims...LCD/ LED lights (blue) (wht ever the heck thy are calld) under the dashboard....full leather and swad seating...TRO exhaust....rear spoiler.... I got lucky and I am happy ever day I drive it...I have had it since aug 8th 2004 and I just hit 20,000 last week !!!!

 

What did you pay for it?

 

I just ordered my car yesterday and the dealer said 48 hours, but everything I read here sayse 6-8 weeks... just wondering if anyone's dealer actually came through in the time they said

 

If another dealer has it they can trade one of theirs for it...

 

YEP.... I was looking for an IIP Tc and for the longest time couldn't find the one I wanted...

so I went to the dealership and they told me for 1000 down they could have it in tomarrow... well I went in to talk them that day around 5:30 .... the next day it was sitting on the lot @ 3:15... I was out with the car I wanted by 5:25...

I had a great time at the dealer...(they even offered me a job seling scions. ) it turns out I knew more about scions than the dealer did....

 

that's seems pretty common with on here it seems... i was on the forum for 2 days and knew 1000% more than the guy i went to see the next day knew haha

 

It seems like no dealer knows exactly when the 2006 tC will come out because today I went to 3 dealerships to just check out the car in person and asked some questions. I went to Toyota of North Hollywood, Toyota of Northridge, and Hamer Toyota...each freakin dealership had told me 3 different release dates for the 2006 tCs. Here's what they said:
Toyota of North Hollywood - September
Toyota of Northridge - November
Hamer Toyota - October
Plus I've been hearing from here that it's going to come out around June/July
I don't know who to believe...I guess no one really knows exactly because when I was talking to those dealers they seemed so unsure. But anyways I really hope they do come out around June/July...if not then I'll settle for a 2005...can't wait till September. Im suppose to get a tC as a graduation gift...so waiting after July...forget 2006...settling for a 2005 instead

 

hey guys i just bought my red tc on tuesday from miller toyota in culver city, they had 2 more red ones and about 4 other regular tc's.

 

Like I said...they're trying to sell you an '05 now. They don't know the exact month, but they're also not going to tell you sooner than later. They want you to leave that evening with a car.
