Save 1400, spend 1000 on your car. Tint and some hotchkis springs should be enough to keep you happy for a while.

Ok, what about this HKS TVS Stage 1 kit. Comes with sways, sport springs, brackets. $450 shipped. Could I save money and buy springs sway(s) separately and be better off?

Yeah I realize that now after shopping for these items separately. They would be 550.00 minimum if i bought them separately. Now as far as strut bars are concerned, any of them better then others?

DC Sports?
Tanabe?
Greddy?
JIC?

Well Hotchkis does not make strut bar for the TC. I called them and they said they are working on it (yeah I know what that means), but they don't carry it. Any good back-up to Hotchki's? I saw greddy has a front and rear strut bar, but do the rear strut bars help at all? Any noticeable differences?

they've made them but dont have the now cause i have the older one. The next alternative is the TRD which is the same thing just with the TRD badge and in RED. Its more eye candy than performance but i noticed a difference when i installed mine. My front nose doesnt go up when turning any more. Its now more on the ground. I wouldnt worry about it tho. If you get that Hotchkis Pkg i would get TRD shocks to go along with it. Just to get a better and softer ride!

How about the TRD front bar (or equivelent) and the Ingalls 4 point rear bar?

So many choices, and they all seem to be good. This is why it's so fun being a tuner (and can get crazy). You really gotta know what direction you want to go. Really I've narrowed down my choices.

1st package:

TRD Springs
TRD Strut Bar
TRD Rear Sway Bar
INGALLS 4 point rear bar
TOTAL: $650.98 shipped
*TRD shocks will come in a couple months

2nd package:

HOTCHKIS Sport Springs
TRD Strut Bar
TRD rear sway bar
INGALLS 4 point rear bar
TOTAL: $653.26 shipped
*TRD shocks will come in a couple months

Really only difference is the springs, cause I will get the shocks in a couple months from TRD.

Hotchki's or TRD? Also camber kits required? I've seen some adjustable camber kits for our car too.

depending on what drop you want. Hotchkis will give a bit more than TRD. I have Hotchkis and love them, many people will agree with me. Im getting the TRD shocks within this month. So my vote will be the 2nd pkg.

Camber kit is not necessary. I know for a fact you can take it to break check and have the camber and allignment fixed. I just did mine.

Yeah good point. On my corolla, I had a 2inch drop with eibachs on for over 2 years, no camber problems. I just get paraniod cause you see a lot of hondas and tegs with camber issues, but then I have to remind myself they have different suspensions on em.

I like the hotchkis drop, especially since im stickin with 17s, so more of a gap to clean up, so the lower the better. How long have you had your hotchkis on before you decided / needed? shocks? I'm hoping to be able to last on the new springs for at least 6 months w/o shock problems.

1yr & 4 months. Others have gone longer, but im getting paranoid and want a more comfortable ride (im ****). I think i could of lasted another 4-5 months with stock shocks. But its always good to upgrade!

Hope you don't mind my question, but where are you getting this from? That's a really good deal, since its cheaper than the TRD price (that doesn't include the Ingalls 4-point bar!)

what gives?

I could really go for that money. I'd buy a set of Tein Basic coilovers, and front/rear sway bars. Ingalls stiffy, DC Sports front strut bar. I'd get an eD 13Ov.2 and Nine2.x and put the rest in savings.

Thgeres a really really great autobody shop, its called pro street auto body, they are located on vanessa drive and wynn drive. uhh right in the middle of all the cool looking buildings, it looks like a row of uhh rears to buildings. anwyays. the reason i mentioned that place is because if you decide to do suspension, its the only place i havce found so far that knows how to do TC suspension without ____ing everything up. vegas is full of autobody idiots. they just did mine. granted, it took them 6 hours, but it was their first tc...

Good lookin out man. What did you have them install, and how much did it put you back? I can do all of the mods myself, but if it's a good deal, I'm down for it (I'd be tempted to wrench with em though LOL)

That's correct, he was stating the model of a sub & amp, respectively.
