Default Accident in Boston with my TC

I would like to preface this by saying that I know how to drive...

I was entering the Alewife T station in Boston when I hit a curb in the actual pkng deck...it was one of those high, sharp edged curbs...I was not going fast or driving dumb...I was temp. blinded...anyway...I the left front brake froze, I bent the rim, and I tore the control arm. thats right...I TORE IT!

First off I love this car and I really have had nothing bad to say about it...but for the control arm to rip at a low speed like that....I dunno

Anyway...I got the car towed to CLAIR TOYOTA/SCION in WEST ROXBURY/BOSTON. This Dlr is AWESOME, everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful. The service director/managers name is Gene, he was a nice guy. They didnt have all of the parts in stock but were able to get them for me next day...so if you live in that area...buy from them. If I lived in Boston they would be my dlr, I only had to stay in Boston one extra day so it worked out great and they even printed out directions for me to get back home cuz I didnt know where the hell I was.

It was over 200miles for me to get home and I did it in almost 2.5 hrs

Great to hear the dealer was such a big help. Personally I got my car from Boch and they're great. Although I haven't gone back since I got the car over half a year ago, I'm sure if I had to return they'd be as pleasant as they were when I made the purchase.

Sorry, I was too ____ed to take any pics and I didnt have a camera....I had a mini dv cam....but I was way too ____ed...

Lower control arm was split about 2 inches from the wheel...the split was 2-2.5 inches deep, I was almost poz that that the car would drop....thats how bad the split looked

the rim was replaced as well as the control arm and ball joint...It had an alignment and I figured what the heck...so I had the oil changed and they gave it a bath
