Another question. how tall are you, do you fit in your tC
#2
I'm 6'1", and I fit in my tC, but I use the very back seat stop (which is also what I did in my '99 Corolla). My left leg is slightly bent when holding the clutch in, but I like it that way (I just hope to not be in traffic for so long). I have the steering wheel tilted all the way up (a dealer serviceman had tilted the steering wheel down because he was shorter, and after driving away, I was wondering why the wheel was almost against my thighs; so yes, this matters).
In my mother's '05 Celica, I could take the seat farther back, but then that car is designed to accomodate people who are taller (to a certain extent; the headroom is about the same as the tC).
One other measurement that might also help is the distance from the bottom of the foot to the hip; for me it's 3'1". Some people have longer or shorter legs, which would affect how far back they need to put the seat.

Something else I think that some miss... the seat height adjustment works in a "pumping motion" so just pushing it down or up all the way doesnt give you the full adjustment. I have heard a few that did not realize that you can pump in down a few times and get the seat much lower.. something to consider during the test drive
I am only 5'9", so I am far from the roof

I'm 6'4" and I fit OK. I have the seat all the way down and all the way back, and I have to lean the seat back a bit to keep my head off the ceiling.
I've pretty much found that with most cars of Japanese heritage, you're going to have that issue.

Im 6'3 and I just barely fit. Maybe an inch or so of room. But I do fit comfortably. Except I tend to have to move closer to the windshield at red lights to see them. However the only way to fit in the back is with the seats fully reclined and even then its tight.

5' freaking 11" (how ___). I fit nicely except my long a$$ arms, I have a wingspan of 6'5" (how tall I was suppose to be). I have to put the seat all ghetto like to get my arms to hold the steering wheel correctly.

5'9" here... I know when I test drove a tC my head was very close to contacting the headliner/visor... anyways, its just fine now, plenty of room above me. Obviously not as much as a regular sedan, but its enough. It gives me a little bit more comfortable feeling to be closer to the car.
Strangely though, I have a little trouble in my dad's Sienna, plus the gas pedal is so close the kick panel so whenever I get off the brake onto the gas I usually end up kicking the panel, almost everytime. It's so annoying.

6'0 and fit fine. My buddy is 6'4 or 6'5 ish and weighs a good 275 and he has seat all the way back and his head touches the sunroof visor thing a little. But he seems pretty comfortable.
