i called my local dealer and they want like $23 so that seems to be the average price. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow.

 

I got one of these and it works great and reception is the same as OEM. Fits perfectly with no gap.

I called my guy at Brown's Honda that I order all my wholesale parts from and he said the difference between the s2000 and the Element antenna is the base on the Element is VERY slighty more narrow. So we tried both on my car and the Element one did look a lot better. It actually looks like it is factory even up close. So from now on I would recommend everyone get the Element antenna instead of the s2000 which has the fitment issue.

no, but i am thinking of getting either the element or s2k antenna. wanted the s2k one but the one guy said that the element one fits better...

It might have been a mini cooper antenna, I notice some people are buying those for the tCs.

Tell you guys what...I'll take some pics of my Elemen-tenna, then maybe someone with the S2000 antenna can post some picss too and we can see what the major difference is. I'll be sure to try to get a clear shot of the base.

I wish I knew about the mini-cooper antennas though.

In a ealrier post, I explained seeing a tc with this really short, stubby antenna and wondered what it was. Someone suggested that it might be a Mini Cooper antenna/ Or did I mis-read that?

Anyway...so I'm noticing all these mini-coopers driving by yesterday and realized that they have almost the exact some antenna as a tc...so I'm not sure about that anymore.

Stupid me forgot my camera yesterday, but I have it here, so I'll try to get some pics today.

 

If I can find a digital camera I will take a pic of my S2k antenna today. I am not making any promises. I don't understand how someone could get the "specs" of an antenna?

And I believe the part number for the Element is 39151-S6A-E01

or is it 39151-S6A-E02?

Can anybody post pics of a tc with s2k and another with the element?

 

$15, reception stayed about the same, plus i listen to cd's and the i pod so doesnt make a difference to me
