Default any problems taking the car through a touchless car wash?

Like those high pressure touchless washes?

The roof leaking?

Or wheels getting scratched?

Just be careful driving in so you don't scratch up your rims on the railing and you should be fine. I go through them all the time. I tried doing the whole hand washing thing, which is still the best, but I just don't have the time and, at least in the winter, its too cold outside.

Also consider actual car washes, not just the car wash things at gas stations. It's like a combination machine and hand wash. Went to one before New Years and you definitely notice the difference from a real car wash and the cheap ones at gas stations.

The place I bought my tC from is owned by a slumlord mogul or something up here. He owns a ton of car dealerships, gas stations, etc. He owns a car wash, and part of the deal in buying the car is I get free car washes. It's touch free, and I've had no problems.

Just make sure you take your antenna off, and you'll be fine. Washing by hand gets old real quick.

I don't trust them. A good hand job is my preference. I can wash and dry the Box in half an hour taking it easy...

I finally got a chance last night to wash it between storms. Made it to work and back into the garage ok so far... I hate the wet weather...

Just be careful not to get a rim job on those guide rails - hand jobs are the best.

I recall one thread around here where the guy's moon disks got creased by the guide rail... I shudder at the thought of something happening to my Maglites...

Other than not cleaning the side skirts, I am happy with the touchless wash.
