Why do all these people with less then 30,000 miles post?

The topic is: "anyone have over 100,000 miles yet?", not "How many miles do you have?"

Well, we can do the math, figure out how many miles/day they average. Then just calculate it out to when they'll hit 100k or something.

I'll be 1/2 way there in a month.

I'm at 53000 miles bought it with 1mile on it. Got it Sept of 04. I'm over half way there to 100K. Hahaha, everything is still original, even the clutch. All I do is change the oil with Mobil 1 every 5k.

Thats hogwash!!lol But seriously whats so bad about mobil1 i've used it in every car i had and they all made it past 200,000 before they were sold and redriven. It comes factory in in (i believe) all mercedes, some porsches, and some ferrari's. Please school me i'm not too knowledgable about oil, its just what my dad used and what i use now too.

Well..... I have you beat. I WILL most likely be the first to pass 100,00 miles.

We bought our tC in October 2004 with 8 miles on it. My wife drives 55 miles to work & back 5 days a week... that's 110 miles a day..... we now have.
