Default Aroddalobster's Progression and Sayonara to SL

Well, i doubt anyone has noticed but i haven't really been on this forum much anymore, mostly because I've moved onto a new project.
I'll be keeping my tC as a dd (though i want to trade it in for a 3 dr yaris or some beater civic for their mileage), but i doubt i'll be on here as much or at all. So, as a kinda farewell, I've decided to make a progression thread for my tC, just as blktc and sky-on did. yes, i'm fully aware my car isn't half as gangster as theirs, but what the hell, if it bores you, feel free to ctrl+w it.
So, in aug of 2005, i got my 06 5spd bsp tc with no options after waiting for 4 months to get it.

yes. stock.
My first mod was, of course, a injen cold air intake, and oddly enough, it ended up being the last mod to come off my car.

Then, I decided i didn't like the jeep look of a stock tC (who does?), so i got some hotchkis springs on.

Then, i got 17x7 +35 enkei evo5 with 225 sumi HTR-zII tires, tires that i still rock to this day lol

Then i got 08 headlights and put 6k mobilhids in there

Got the mmw header/s-pipe and forgot to wipe it off before firing it up lol whoops

Then I think i was one of the first few to get my garnish filled in to make a badgeless garnish.

Got into exhausts, first was a 2.5" precisionmuffler axleback

ended up wanting a different route, and picked up a skunk2

lol yeah i know it looks friggin truckin in that pic
Got some jdm yo bling in the engine bay with dme etd and air diversion panel

Got a rs1 front lip and oem rear lip on and weathertechs to set the car off a bit more

Hotchkis drop started to seem too high (which they kinda are), so picked up some tein ss-p

got tired of my enkeis so i slapped on some custom toyota tan leadsleds

lol jk
picked up vrd grilles and vrd fogs w/ 3k hids in them

had to say goodbye to my wheels since i started getting an income around this time and wanted to step up my wheel game
last pic w/ my enkeis:

got these

but while i figured out what to do w/ tires and the mad rubbing problem,i rocked these

then came time to mount my old ___ wheels

decided i want more low, so

where this is easily achieved, at least in the rear

unfortunately, there was thick thick fog on my way over to a friend's house, when i couldn't avoid a huge chunk of tire in time, causing my lip to fly off, my fogs to pop out and drag on the floor, and lower grille to pop out, with no shoulder to pull over on. i borrowed blktc's old bumper for a loong while, which still sits in my backyard as til this day and roped it on, literally

then decided i'm gona try to paint my old bumper and put another rs1 lip on in one night before longo, which really failed

1 day after longo, where the pic was shot, the rs1 lip flew off (yes again) along with my driver-side fender lining on the 57, but fortunately, by this time i was already thinking of getting a second project car because i drive 350+ miles a week, requiring a car that can get me from point a to point b with no problems, and not jacked up on stands with no engine.
So, after that, i started parting out my car little by little b/c of school and work, and now, my mods are mostly gone, with my profile having all the mods that i still have on my car.
my rs1 flew off in december of 2008, and it's now june 2009 and it still looks like:

simply b/c of the lack of time and energy to get around to it.
With the money from selling my mods and a bunch of my savings, i picked up this baby,

'95 5spd sc300 painted in mercedes' rocky brown and 18" advan siennas and a fully re-upholstered interior, a pioneer dvd player and nardi wheel, and dropped on tein basics
It was a bank breaker, but i was drawn to the fact that it runs and has all these mods that i can either easily appreciate or sell for a good amount of $$$.
I've already jacked up the car to max out the basics and to remove the spacers since i cannot, in any way, feel safe running 20mm front and 15mm rear. i'd feel unsafe with them on tC, so having them on this lexus that's twice the weight had me sh*ttn bricks the drive home, worried something's gona snap or a bearing's gona blow. it looks tucked, but i'll take the feeling of being safe over a temporary look since i'm already looking into a new set of wheels and coilovers.

(yes i know i need a lip kit.)
so yup, that's my story up til today, and i had a good time on sl for the last 2 years, and i learned a whole bunch of stuff. i met a lot of really chill people on here that i'll continue to talk to on a regular basis especially, blktc, sky-on, unit_xero, trdxd, meng, and more that i cannot think of right now as my brain's dead from being in the sun all day.
i'll probably be stopping by once in a while to lol at the noobs, but definitely not as frequently as i did before.
Thanks for takin the time to look!

checho: haha i'm not exactly leaving. just won't be showing up as much as before. and yeah, i'll def be updating this thread w/ big upgrades, but not for a while. the car itself emptied my bank account...
DJ08: thanks man!
pete: haha thanks man. yeah, the siennas don't look bad, but their fitment is just so bleh and i don't feel like hunting down bigger lips for em, so once i find new wheels, these'll be going up fs. the blitz will stay on the tC. the main reason why i'm keeping the tC is b/c i wanna keep the blitz lol
highvoltage: yeah i had to jump on this. 5spd, it runs, and relatively clean.
thanks all for the comments!

chrisb : thanks man!
carbon : yeah i know, i've been thinking of going 16" rpf1s, but these have grown on me, and they weigh 18lbs so they're not too bad.
ben: you bettah come by lol. and hit me up when you get tires mounted!
tig: yeah i'm actually liking the brown only downside is the finish of the wheel gets kinda limited when the car's not black/white. and yes, advans are ftw. hahaha
cory : nah, no need for me to gte it. the previous owner rebuilt the head w/ a thicker head gasket b/c he was going to go na-t, but ended up selling the car before he could put his plans into action. i'll probably be going na-t as well, shooting for maybe 400, which the block should handle with no problem after it's rebuilt. gawd talk about $$$$$$$...
oh, and the rpf1s were sold to unit_xero. not too sure if he ever uses em...
roja: thanks man. i'll still be here though!
o8: thanks, glad my blitz are finally getting a bit of love on here. and yeah, it's too bad i can't start on the project... no funds any more...
thekevin: thanks! i see you a lot on clublexus hahaha
