yea it's clear and instead of having black plastic surrounding the light it's a kind of darker chrome. The problem with the turn signal is that any bulb I put in there reacts differently than you'd expect. The yellows that were originally in them looked very pale when lit, and when I put red bulbs in they lit up pink. Now there's LED reds in them, and they light up nice and red, but you can barely see them during the day.

Coilovers installed! H&R's. Also Figure grills.
These are just quick iPhone pics outside the shop and then my house.
PROBLEM: I had the shop roll the fenders in the rear, but the tires still rub - or at least I think they do: I've only been hearing what I think is rubbing coming from the rear left - even when I've had passengers in the rear right... I thought maybe it was just clunking from the coilover and not rubbing because it's only happening in the rear left but I can't tell. There is the bolt in the rear fender that hinders the rolling:
Help? I'm probably going to raise the back a thread or two, possibly the front as well.

hey what shop did you goto? drivers image? and do the ziptie or just take the bolt out and use a dremel to cut it a bit.. mines being held up by the sides and bolts on the bottom and the plastics inside of the trunk so it will hold well anyway

Dropzone: They're 18's with I believe a +35 offset. I got them from the classifieds here so I'm 100% sure on the offset. Tires are 225/40-18's.
friendskillz: yea I got them installed/rolled at Drivers Image. I see you live in Morton Grove. Ever been to your library? My dad's the director.

Well I took it back to Drivers Image yesterday and they raised the back up half an inch. I think it looks even better now - slightly raked toward the front.
I also asked them to just remove those bolts and replace them with zip ties as I thought that was what was rubbing the tire. Greg (the owner) took it back into the garage and raised it and noticed it wasn't the bolts but a part of the inner bumper that was rubbing... so he just cut it off - it's just some plastic. Now I have absolutely no rubbing in the rear - even on pretty hard dips and bumps - and I have a great looking car. Pictures soon - anybody know some good spots around chicago to have a shoot? friendskillz?

went out tonight looking for places to shoot:
ended up at the bahai temple in Wilmette, but at this point I was too lazy to set up the tripod again so they didn't come out too great - I just like them cause they're a bit ominous... even though you can't really see the car.

only thing is I'm worried that the vinyl won't match Flint Mica correctly...

Compared to the TRD springs I had, they're awesome. I feel more connected to the street and to the steering. They can be somewhat bumpy on some worse roads-but never bouncy like the TRDs. I also have the trd rear sway set to race so that'll make things a bit on the bumpy side as well. Overall I love them - definitely worth it. The car looks great (I still feel like it looks better in person than in the pictures) and handles better. Feels great to drive. If you're thinking about getting them go for it.
