Everybody received 3 free oil changes. I wish I had negotiated another 3-4 oil changes with free 3 year tire rotation.......

i wouldnt let the dealer touch my car to do oil changes, usually those are the guys getting paid minimun wages and are the noobs at the dealer. just do it yourself, it isnt hard at all.

Any basic mechanic shop will do your oil changes for $20.

The free oil changes always come with a catch... they'll rotate your tires without asking, then charge... as well as look for things to fix.

There's a reason why they're free.. they're going to squeeze money out of you somewhere else

My dealership's service shop is rated 11th in the country for toyota, in terms of customer satisfaction. They've got my trust so far.

Rotating tires is $10, and I'd be disappointed if they didn't look for any problems.

^^^

I'm supposed to get lifetime free oil changes and tire rotations, and then the dealership decided they didn't want to give free tire rotations anymore. Dinged me for 22 bucks for a stinking tire rotation, without even telling me up front that there would be a charge or how much it would be.

Added another item to my long list of things I'm not happy about with my dealer's service department...

(and they have YET to get the tire pressures right on a tC its 31 in front, 29 in rear, *NOT* 30 all around!)

Its simple, they rotate without asking, its free, dont let them tell you otherwise... if not, make them put them back the way they were Its ridiculous for them to try stupid crap like that.

Its alot easier to change your own oil. but I document everything and I hope it will help with reslae when the time comes.

i know if I was buying a used car and some guy was selling one and he said yeah changed the oil every 3000 miles. Then someone else the same thing and had reciepts for every 3000 miles. I would take the car with documented service in a hearbeat.

( Ihave every reciept for everything ever done so far. Including gas reciepts that show how many gallons and dates and prices so I have a record of gas milage and all.) (my wife hates this keeping stuuf by the way)

I've said it before on another thread like this and I'll say it again here:
Scion Sampler CD #7 rocks and is of far greater use to me than the three free oil changes that I probably won't use.
