Default Auto X'd the tC this weekend... with pix! :D

HOLY ____... so i auto crossed for the first time EVER this weekend... i always wanted to do it... but i never really "balled" up to it :hehe

somehow tho last week i just sucked it up and made the deicision and i told my self to JUST DO IT... otherwise i'd always be sitting on the sidelines wondering if i was missing out on something

and let me tell you I TOTALLY WAS MISSING OUT.. i had so much freaking fun behind the wheel of my car, totally 100% legally on sunday... some of the best fun I have ever had for 30 bucks!!!

being that it was my first time i totally didn't test the limits of the car I just wanted to get out there and get a feel for what was going on and a feel for my car in the situation... we got to run 6 times.. and each time my time improved ... i won't tell ya how bad i ran... but i will say i'm not worried about how ____ty my times were cuz even going into the event i told myself i wasn't worried about going fast yet i was more worried about just getting out there and doing it... so now that i have some tiny bit of confidence that i can at least drive the course :hehe i look forward to testing myself and the car some...

Here's a few pix a freind took who was there watching...
like i said i had six runs.. and only the last one i drove alone in.. just cuz i took people out with me who had knwon what was going on so they could yell at me to NOT ride the clutch, to not cross my hands on the wheel and to GO FASTER!!!!

looks like you are lowered
what other mods do you have?

dont be embarrassed about the times, i dont see why you would get bashed on a scion board. i mean we're not expecting miata times.

also what class would the tc be in?

well.. right now all i have is the TRD drop and the TRD exhaust

a stock tC would be in G-Stock
with the exhasut and the drop I am in STS (well STS ladies since I'm a girl)

lol.. my first run was 65 seconds...
by the end of my last run at the end of the way i was down to 51 seconds... most people out there were running 43-46
the fast heavily modified cars were running 35-39s

i was slow... but i'm ok with that... i look to improve as the season goes on

Great pics. I'm sure you'll be doing it again soon. One suggestion, if you plan on continuing to AutoX your tC, buy different tires. The stock Potenzas are terrible for AutoXing. I'm another one of those guys down here in Louisiana that autox's. I've been doing it since November and can tell you with great certaintly that the stock tires are your biggest obstacle.

I too Autox'd this past weekend and there's a statewide competition coming up next weekend that I'll be at as well. Our club has all three Scion models running in STS.

Good luck on your future events!

You are correct. When I started, I was running in G-Stock. When the 2005 rule book came out I was informed that the tC is in fact H-Stock. Oh well I'm in STS now.

Get someone to take pics of your runs if you can. Or at least tell us how you do.

It appears that the TRD setup reduces quite a bit of body-roll...very nice.
