Automatic shifter lights does not light up.
I just purchased and installed the usa spec aux toyo device to my oem pioneer stereo and felt that it went smoothly. That following night i turned on my lights and i realized that i could not see the PRND321 on the shifter. I rechecked my wireing and everything was connected the way it should so i am guessing it may be a fuse but i am now car wiz. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

So it was working before you installed the AUX adapter?? I can't imagine installing something like that would have anything at all to do with those lights specifically - unless you forgot to plug something back in while putting it all back together.
That's probably where I'd start, recheck your work there and make sure everything is plugged in.

i had a friend who works at toyota collision center install it and i watched him do it and he plugged everything back in. While we were in there plugging and unplugging stuff the car was on(not idleing) but the electronics were on because we had to put the shifter in drive to take out the center dash. So that may have cause the issue. I also took it in to circuit city (also a friend) he works for the car installations and he checked the wiring and said everything is plugged in. If it is the fuse i wouldnt know what fuse to replace?

alright ill give that a shot but i dont know where the bulb is. When you take out the center dash the shift piece is still intact. I didnt even touch that piece during the installation and it may be the fuse because that is all i notice that doesnt work. So something else might not work butt i just am not aware of it at the moment.

Yeah, sounds like the bulb came loose during removal/replacement of the shift surround.
If you're going to replace it, you might as well stick an LED in there along with the cubby hole light. (They both take the #74 bulb.) It will look purdy!

Voltage test to see if you have any..........if not then trace it back to the fuse............if fuse good..............then goto the switch and see if you lost a wire on it.............a;; aese fails got the ariginal setup and see if it works............if it does then you have a delema..................
