SICK, I love that there are more people pushing the auto to it's limits. Any plans for a transbrake in the future?

I might. My friend Matt and I figured out how to get on to work, but i dont know if i would like it. The way it would be wired, i could shift myself, I'd have to leave it in drive, which is much slower. I dont know how that would work out at the track, probably wouldnt make me faster.

Patrick, just go boost _____.

A wise man once said to me "It's not when you going to wreck on a motorcycle, it's just how bad you will wreck."

acually, what I said was" there are two kinds of riders; those that have had an accident, and those that will have an accident." but close enough and I'm glad you listened bryan. you will have one eventually if you ride a bike, just hope it doesn't put you in a wheelchair for the rest of your life or outrightly kill you. Patrick, you don't need, nor should you be allowed, a motorcycle. I heard you drive as aggressively as I do. If you do get one, god forbid, get ALL the gear and wear it ALL the time, that way, when they sew all your pieces back together in the mourge, your mom will be alowed to come in and look at whats left of you. I'm not even joking.

How did you attach the bumper latches to the body? Those are not just pop riveted in are they?

EDIT: The trans brake leaves you in between 1st and reverse so you can preload the torque converter without stomping the brake pedal. It makes for a much more consistent launch and you have little to no lag. If you are shifting 1-2-3-d you are not gaining anything over leaving it in drive and are putting alot of unneeded stress on the transmission. There is a reason all the bigboys run transbrakes, your reaction and launch will be halfed at least. So say it's good for another half second or so in the quarter.

I know exactly what a transbrake is and how it works. Reaction doesnt have anytihng to do with 1/4 mile time. And if i leave my car in D then as soon as the wheels spin it catches 2nd gear. Then im low in rpm's, make no power and wind up running 14's. It happens every time. I am just stating that i have a lot of thing to do before i need to start worrying bout a trans brake. Try shifting your car down the 1/4 and see if you run faster.
