Default Best bang for the buck?

I was told from a source (friend who has a honda) that our engine in the tc does not put out that well. I have since been corrected by a number of SL members (which I thank them for there help and patience going from a ford to a scion). Anyway, besides the TRD suspension mods and the overall look car, what else can I get put into the engine since I am going the SC route? Also, anyone know the average price for a trd supercharger with pro install (need to keep the warranty)?

My main goal is to have a "sleeper" of sorts....

i hate the TRD supercharger, low gains high cost, only advantage is the warranty.

looking as how you want forced induction, doesn't seem you want to sell it back anytime soon, so i recommend investing on a good turbocharger, and if thats to much for you N/A is best, go with a CAI, headers, exhaust.

A tire with a tread of 100 = $200+, a tire with a tread of 400 = $100...go figure...

Tires are all about what you need vs what you want.

Your in NJ, so I am willing to bet you need a decent snow tire.

A good friend of mine, and my first person I go to about cars, always suggest to have the very best of both snow and summer tires. Of course thats extra pricey.

Right now I have some Falken Ziex's on my tC. They really display how ____ty our suspension is in the summer, but become rock hard and maybe worse then stock in the winter. (Circa $54 per tire)

The last time I have driven on that was great is freezing weather was on my Parents car. Continental Conticontacts. (circa $90 per tire)
