Rare huh? I have SSM... that was killed off after one year.

As for BCP... I probably see more guys in that color around this area (not that I see a lot of them). But the AP does seem to be more of a girl's color but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of guys driving them. Bottom line... it doesn't matter.

However... if you were to drive a yellow VW Beetle... then we may want to have a talk.

but when I was shopping for a tc, I thought BCP was a bit feminine. Sparkly purple-red. I see a lot of girls drive bcp. Its rare I see any guys drive that one.

if you get attentions from girls for bcp because they think its a pretty color

its not a girly color unless you are girly, therefore making the color girly. I like the color, especially with the right bronze rims. My dad used to have a dark purple supercharged buick riviera. never came off girly to me.

I loved this color.....what I liked about it that it was unique cuz not alot of BCP cars get fixed up

IMO it still looks like a girl owns it, even with the mods. If I saw the car, i would think the it was a female tuner.

SW is slightly feminine looking stock, however if its modded panda style, it looks hot, a stock SW tc is borderline girlie looking, but not when its modded. IMO

Found website for Toyota color codes while searching for the 3P2 code on Google and found that the JDM name for this color code is "Blood Mica". For some reason the Japanes like the "mica" name for their colors.... JDM colors at bottom of page on URL


The rarity of BCP on the xA was evident when I ordered mine in Feb. `04 and dealer had to trade out to get a 5speed manual for me. The only drawback I have is keeping the dirt off, and paint chips really show up alot

What's wrong with that? The MX-5/Miata is praised as having one of the best shifting manual trannies... and I don't think I even need to state what happens when you have such a light car combined with RWD and an incredible stock suspension
