Default Blk07tC's Intro/Pic Thread.

Hey what's up guys? Im Dez. I've been lurking around on SL forever so i thought i'd make a thread about my tc. Shes a 2007 BSP 5spd. i got it back in December of 2007 with 22k on the clock. When i bought it, i had no intention of doing any type of modding to it. I planned on just driving it. But I kept getting on these forums and seeing all these sick tc's so i went for it. i guess i got bit by the "mod bug" lol. I don't have any pictures to show my progress, i only have one picture of when she was stock. Only mods were black stockies and grille (if you even consider that a mod).

4x4 status son!!!

I threw some legal tints on it and rocked it like this for about two years.

>>Fast Forward to now.>>

The current mod list is short and simple:

Super sevens powdercoated black
Tein S-Tech springs
Apt fogs w/ noyka arctic white bulbs
6k Hids
VRD Upper Grille
Rs1 front lip
OEM lip Spoiler
Smoked out tailights
Oznium full Red TBL (smoked)
tint (2 layers of 15% all the way around, 35% on entire windshield.)
TWM Stage 2 SS
Blox LE 490 Shift ****
white LED side mirror turn signals
white front turn signals (ehh)
S2k antenna
2 12'' Rockford Fosgate Punch P2 Subs with a RF p200-2 amp. (not the hardest hitting setup in the world, but it gets the job done.)
Pioneer Avic X930BT

On to the pictures...

Dont Mind the big hole in the bumper, I had a hard time getting the lower VRD to fit. I'll mess with it one of these days...

^ This is seriously an awesome unit. It does it all. Music streamed through BT sounds clean and crisp. Navi could be a bit better but im not complaining. All in all its a great unit. I had an old double din in there before and my door wouldnt close with it, so i took it off and put in my garage and now i cant find it lol. I kinda wish i didn't take it off because it looks like ____ now lol.

Well there she is, thats my car. I know, i know, it needs moar low but i'm just another broke ___ college kid lol. Coilovers may be in the future, who knows. Feel free to comment. Thanks for looking SL.

So i havent really done anything else to it, i got a hks Hi-Power axleback, sounds amazing! but its seriously huge as ____ lol. I'll post pix later. Anyways, after being on this forum for a bit, and seeing all these slammed tc's, im itching to go lower. I'm thinking Rokkor coils? There cheap and i've seen quite a few with them on here. Thoughts/opinions?

lookin' good man!
kill that amber in the headlights with a vinyl overlay or bake the headlight open, and throw on some eyelids to get it more aggressive maybe?

with a bigger drop and some aggressive wheels, this thing would look absolutely menacing coming in my rearview. you're off to a good start.

You can use floss to cut through the glue/tape(best to do this on a hot day), adhesive remover to take off the remaining tape/glue/whatchamacallit.

Most Def, thanks man. ill try not to rice it out lol...ive got white turn signals to match my white led side mirror signals, i consider that to be somewhat ricey, lol. But no, my 930 doesnt do that. Ive never heard of that issue. Does it happen all the time? Or just sometimes?

dh517, Im on s-techs.

I usually don't care for the blackout look, but that rear end looks so clean. I can dig it. And about the rokkors... I've had mine for a little while now, not too much to say about em. For 300 bucks they get the job done. I think the lower they are, the better the ride. I just took mine out of winter mode saturday night, and it sucked getting the lock rings broke loose. The wrenches they provide suck. I recommend a pipe wrench, or some big-___ channel locks.

I agree about the blacked out tails. You got them painted right? Just want to double check. I am thinking about doing it to mines as well.

Thanks guys, yeah im deff lookin into going lower, but i gotta see how my bank acct looks like after i pay for books and what not for school...but Rokkors are pretty much my choice, i hear nothing but good comments about them.

Turd, did you modify them in anyway? or Just put them on and drop them? I wanna see a picture of how low it'll be.

And as for the tails, the painter at my job did them. Mixed black with clear, I told him i wanted to only see a tiny shade of red, he did a great job on them i think. light output isnt bad at all either.

No problem and thanks bro. The paint guy at my job did my waterfall and all my interior trim pieces. Before, it was flat black which i did with a rattle can. I love the way the VRD grilles look, if i only i could fit my stupid bottom one in lol.
