Default Can the wiper blade stroke be adjusted?

I have an 2007 Tc. The new style wiper blades (Bosch Icon, Goodyear assurance) are much wider than the stock blades. The drivers side hits the upright next to the window at it's full stroke. Is there an adjustment to reduce the full stroke by 15mm?

Any help would be appreciated!

the only adjusting you can do is to loosen the bolt and move the arms down lower.
just buy the right blades...

Default Thank you

I did get the refills from Toyota. It appears that the wiper blade in being redesigned to the ICON style. They do work better and have a very streamlined look to them. And they are $9.00/each at Costco which is still less than the refill at the dealer.

That's odd...I have no problems with my Bosch Icons.
They are full replacements and not refills though.

This is an option. There's one 14mm nut that holds the arm on (under a black cover). You can remove that and then "rotate" the arm to a lower position.

BUT... I would first ask how low they're going. Because if they're coming down to the proper spot but still going too far at the top, you might have the wrong blades.

Well there is a snow setting on the blades. Which makes the blades go higher and they rest higher on the window i think all year tc's have this feature. i can take a few pictures to show anyone if they like just grab the arm and pull upwards towards the sunroof area... and it will pop to a higher setting. You may have done this on accident i did.. and a forum member noticed it and i just went out their and push it downwards towards the hood. and it popped into place (back to normal settings).

while tC's do have that, that only makes the resting position higher, it shouldnt effect the blades travel.

it wouldnt cause the blades to hit anything or it wouldnt be a feature at all.
