Im not familiar with the points system as we dont use it in our state.

But In Illinois you can always try to ask the judge for court supervision, which is you have 90 days to be ticket free or the original, and the new ticket will go on your record.

If you stay clean for 90 days the original ticket does not go on your record. The judge may make you go to driving school as well. (4 hour class).

Could be wayy different in your state, but here in Illinois they are willing to work with you if you go to court and ask.

First off kon. Are we 16. Lol.
Anyway. Your driving record is confidental. Only you can see your points. No one else is able to access them.

Your insurance company will see it the next time your policy runs out( every 6 months) or you wreck your car.

Oh....

well actually in VA you can look up peoples offenses, wont say how many points they get but will show if they are found guilty or paid the ticket

^^^ and on this one... at any point did it ever occur to you that they probably already had your plate number? LOL
They didnt get my plate until we were 6 minutes into the chase, I got cornered into a vi-dock. At that point I thought I lost them but out of no where a cop rushes right into the tunnel I was in and then the chase was back on but by then it was too late, they already got my license. I lost them when I took a hard left into traffic. Either way, Im not proud of what I did. I can only thank God for his mercy and grace.

your dad will find out, with all those lawyer letters coming to your house. I don't know how those lawyers find out people that got tickets.
I got speeding ticket on rt18 few year ago. The prosecutor reduced everybody's ticket by 2 points.

lol i have like 7 points on my license woulda been 11 but i did defensive driving which lowers it 4 points. worse comes to worse if you do have to settle with the points take a defensive driving course, get 10% on your insurance and reduce 4 points off your record

Dude, im sorry, but your 20 years old and still feel the need to hide something as silly as a ticket from your parents? Pretty sad.

Anyway, the only ticket I got, they never mailed me anything. I dropped off the money and they gave me a receipt. Btw, like the guy above me said if you got that many points your insurance is going to be effected, and if your parents call wanting to know why it increased, insurance company will know and tell them why. Man up, stop the lies, learn from mistakes.
