Default Chirping Sound from around Headunit?

So I have reviewed the forums and looked at the FAQ and I cannot find anything that resembles the problem my wife's car has.

In the area behind the headunit I am getting a high pitched chirping sound...it is obviously something that is loose because you can hear it "hit" when hitting bumps. I took it to the dealer and they could not replicate it; it only seems to happen after the car has warmed up and is at speed. It is not the radio door.....it sounds like it is coming from the confines of the center console, not the surface.

Sorry if I am beating a dead horse, but it is getting rather old.

Not yet, I don't want to start taking apart a car that is still under warranty.

I do not think it will hurt my warranty, I just prefer that the dealer do any and all work while still in the warranty period.

Are you using the heater or ac? Check to see if it only happens when the heater or ac (fan) is on.
It could possibly be the blower motor of the hvac unit.
Just a shot in the dark, but listen carefully.

I had the same chirp, it was the center right vent. You have to remove the plastic aluminum panel, it's rubbing. You can do a search here.

Did you do this? If not, do it:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...=asc&&start=40

On page 3, about half way down, fastandcurious solved the problem...it really sounds like that's what it is...if not, sorry, maybe somebody else can help!
