So my apt fogs arrived today and got to fondle them some. I must say I am most impressed with them and cannot wait to install them. My tyc tails will be arriving tomorrow as well so we will see when the weather warms up some if I install them or not.

tC got the turbo kit for a Halloween gift, and now Santa (me lol) got the tC a new stage 3 clutch, flywheel, and turbo timer. Santa is also getting a tune for the tC on Dec. 21, just in time for xmas fun.

Where do you buy the ones with the red upper reflector? i like yours so much better than the set that has a yellow upper reflector.

 

I think those are the special Release Series ones that you need the vin from a RS to be able to purchase them. But i could be wrong. Maybe they are used and someone opened up the tales and painted the reflector.

 

They are RS3 tail lights, to buy them new you need a rs3 vin number and they will cost a lot! If you are lucky you might find someone selling them on ebay or craigslist.

 

The RS3 TYC tails retail for $520 at a dealership. In order to get a "replacement" pair, you have to own a RS3 and have the VIN number from your vehicle. I got this pair from LKQ over Ebay.. I paid $168, a steal.. You wont find these tails for sale for less than $250 (minimum) if they know what they are selling.. LKQ didnt list them correctly, I was the only bidder (lucky!).. I shopped over 6 months for these tails.. Only found 2 other sets for sale...
