You know, I kinda wondered that myself. I would think that some powerful dish soap could probably do it. However, I would want to try the regular cleaner first, just to see how it worked. Also, I have no firsthand experiance with that filter, due to it not bieng available for my 07' tC.

Just thinking out loud.

they way to clean the dry flow is to dunk it in water and let dry. you do need their cleaning solution tho.

here's a video. http://www.aempower.com/files/dryflo...rcleaning.html

dont know about your filter. but I have cleaned other filter (autzone brand) with oxi clean let it soak for a few minutes then use my shower head from the inside out.. then Let sit and dry in the over for about 10 minutes on 350 ,, then baked some cookies..
but since these where the cheap autozone filters.. I would have a 2nd one laying around ,, i would alternate them on the car.

I been wondering that too, because from what I understood when they first released their dryflow filter is that you just dunk it in water until clean and let dry, without using any type of cleaner.
