You get the halos... the led on top and the clears in a whole new headlight assembly... not just clear pieces it comes pre-assembled.

Yeah, I saw the pics after I posted and saw everything that came with it. I wonder if you'd get stopped by cops since the turn signals illuminate in white now... no amber bulb. Otherwise, it does look really good and almost worth the money... almost.

you could get stopped by a cop on a bad day but I wouldn't worry about that. I would worry about spending $1200 on a piece of plastic, no matter how much cool stuff is inside - it's still just a headlight housing. Somehow I feel like they're not selling cases of those.

hidretro can do the bmw 5 series projectors with demon eyes for like $1200. it's $250 cheaper if u send them in ur housing. that'd be more worth it than paying for the clearcorner ones imo. creative compacts is doing the demon eyes thing-they did demon eyes, painted the black/greyish part in the housing white and then changed the amber reflector to black. it looks awesome. u can do the hids yourself afterwards.

I guess it's still a new car, but why aren't people making HID projector housings? Are there high quality aftermarket HID projector housings for like... civics and tiburons and stuff? I know that since HID are technically illegal aftermarket, I wonder if people just don't want to make it. I don't want a retro (money and home-made don't really appeal to me) but I really want nicely finished HID.

hidretro has done a couple of scion cars where i live and they look exceptional

if you seen the site they look pretty clean and professional done. these guys have been in business for almost ten years now as far as i know.. by the way the projectors seen on their site are bmw projectors and it includes everything even the ballast bulbs which can cost. they are even willing to customize it the way you want. i just talked with the guy there and he said if you can think of it they can probably make it from scratch. so its not just hid according to the sales guy there.

i probably gonna to get mine done from these guys in a month or so and i will post pics of it when its done. it would be only a grand from retro if i supplied my own lights. hid's are worth it. i dont think creative compact is gonna be any lower than 500 bucks. the hid will probably outlast your car.

A grand isn't a small lump of cash and that's with you supplying the lights. Opting for HID projectors on a brand new Audi A3 is a sub $500 option. I know it's apples and oranges, but what I'm saying is that's hardly cheap. I just wish someone would build a real projector for the tC - things are a lot less expensive when you're doing more than one and not buying something built for a BMW and cramming it into a different housing. I can't afford a grand. I could afford $500.
