well hmm lets see 2.4 vs 2.0 id take the 2.4, but, 220hp 2.0 vs 160hp 2.4?? what happened, its so underpowered, they should have made one of the options a turbo kit like the imprezas

i know ill be happy if i join in, ill be back in the actual jdm scene, theres so much fake jdm here, because the tc is only usdm

It's pretty much the same car, small and slow. if you spend money to get 300hp on a type-S, goodluck resolving your traction problems. There are other cars out there that can be had and that would respond better to real power adding mods.

If he wants an upgrade, get a used S2000, 350Z, IS300...etc

the type-S doesn't have 220hp. It's 201hp

your talking outside our category. even if its used it still has the same power if not more depending on what the previous owner did to the car? if i had 25k for a car, i would go with the WRX TR.

There is a difference between a nut case using a car like that as a daily driver, and a car that takes little effort to drive on the wya to work every day.

Because people keep commenting on what was said before ... I used to help run absoluteprelude.com and we had one of these go to 92 pages ... it's now locked and sticky'd as the longest thread ever on the site.

what, do you think its a downgrade?
obviously he doesnt know what he's talking about. Thats the few that think their tC is faster than the base type-s?
i feel confident about running my tc with a stock rsx-s, theres nothing wrong with that

lol - This is the never-ending post , keeps going and going and going and going...

793whp, daily driven?- Okay on a supra thats healthy, but on a 2.0- I-4 - FWD car thats just plain crazy, there goes practicality OUT the window...

oook?

first most people on here talk trash about type-s's like...
"they'll blow with f/i, it can't handle that power, high compression, blah, blah"
"a turbo tC can smoke type-s's all day long"

but when something abnormal comes up, such as a 750+ whp in a 4cyl. then more trash talking and hating comes out

srt-4s can reach those numbers and they are fwd, but no one is trash talking those(besides the looks)

there's that 500+ tC in the mags, and i bet most people here say "i want to be like that someday"

so what's the problem?
please enlighten me

just because its in a "hon-duh" you guys be quick to judge
step outside of the box and realize that they put lots of money, research, and work to make it happen, give them credit
i'm not just being a fanbio, this goes for any car
anything, i mean anything 500+ whp

i beleive the original poster on clubrsx was dissing the tc and many others followed along with him, so in that aspect you guys "started" it, and what didnt expect retaliation from our side that we would be silent, it works both ways...

you know, there are other things to buying a car besides just speed
in my case, s2k and 350 is out because of it being a 2 seater
is300 is a 4DR and MUST be f/i to be fast
i'm a all motor guy myself
