Default Cold Cathode Interior lighting kit for tC on Ebay!

Hi,
I was browsing for Scion stuff on Ebay and saw that Randode has a Cold Cathode Interior Lighting kit for the tC listed:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Now I just need to decide what color scheme to go with for the interior of my tC... hmmm...I'm leaning towards red - just need to change the guage and console lights to red first. -Jayme

Are you sure you got the link right? I'm getting page not found. I wonder what color would look good with a flint mica....i'd say blue...

Be really careful when buying cold-cathode products. They aren't the same as the LED lighting kits out there, and last only a fraction of the amount of time the LED kits do. Also they are very easy to break as they are ultra fragile. Personally I would get the LED kit and have it dealer-installed so it will be nice and clean and not have cords running all over the place. More value for your money.

I would get the LEDs but they only come in amber and blue. I'd like red... -Jayme

My cathode supplier claims an average life of 50,000 hours. They are fragile, but once they are installed, they are pretty tough to break. My kit is cleaner than the dealers kit. All connections are soldered, shrink tubed, and the whole harness covered in split loom. It also includes a switch that pops right into the dash. And its only 1/3 of the price of the dealers kit.

I think Amber and Blue are perfect colors for the tC because of the interior lighting and guages. I usually have my stereo set to the nice deep Cobalt Blue color so either blue or amber would look great IMHO.

Hmm could you send me a link for the kit? Sounds interesting. Does it also include the cupholder lights like the factory kit?

Wow, that kit comes in purple?? I'm in love. The problem is... I already got the LED kit in blue dealer installed.

My question is: Once the kit is installed, can they just change the color for me or does that involve an entirely new kit?

Let me know if anyone has any ideas about this.

Thanks! :D Heidi

Randode your kits have interested me for some time. However, I do have one question for you. If you consider your kits so much brighter than the dealers wouldn't this present a driving hazard?

Would the bright lights be too much on a dark road at night?
