I bet the "blue mica" is probably an overseas toyota color, show me what color that is, the rs4 color for the xb was an avalon color, the BCP for the tc, is a avalan/camry/xb/xa/tc color, each one has a different name same color, why would they design a new color when they can just use a preexisting color thats not used very often? also the release series cars (this is from the local parts guy) are apparently built in dallas at a toyota factory, or something along those lines

the release series stuff gets put on them at port yes.

and ALL colors that exist on a Scion where used by toyota before wether in Japan or US or wherever, RS or normal model. They just give it a different name.
I beleive the RS2 tC color came from a euro toyota model and the RS4 color was used on a bB a few years ago.
and the nautical blue counterpart is also available on the tacoma.
I have seen the possible RS3 white on a lexus, nothing super special IMO but it still looks very nice.

the RS4 is also a rare 04 avalon color, the only reason its not used often is the lack of aftermarket paint suppliers being able to match it, infact no one can match it, the shops have to buy said paint straight from toyota

they are not built in dallas.

the only things that are put on the car from toyota over here are the optional items that you can get. things like radios/upgraded rims/upgraded taillights/lip kits. and those get put on at the port that they come through or at the dealership, depending on how it was ordered.

well the parts guys local said to call dallas for RS parts, the parts aren't in their computers, I've been told that basicly they build the cars in japan and add the rs stuff here in the states because the RS's weren't originally thought of when the scion line was made

they are painted over there and if you think about it all the rest of the RS stuff falls into the catagory of "scion options". your confused about what you were told.
except for the RS3 xA lip kit i think that gets put on over there.

and its not dallas its the gulf states port where all Scions that get to the gulf states first touch land and get distributed to the "gulf states" dealerships.
