i usually turn off the a/c when there's weather that makes your window fog.. and also open up the vents as well (recirc off)

there's a rear defrost that has never failed to clear up the rear window fogging for me.

where do you live??

If you have the defrost set too cold, it will condensate on the outside of the glass. Try turning the temp up a bit and it should stop the condensation for the most part.

Condensation forms on whichever side of the glass is significantly warmer, like you see on the outside of your drink glass with iced beverage inside.

Good trick is to mist your wipers once - if the windshield clears it's on the outside, so like engifineer said make your defroster temp warmer.

If the wipers don't clear it, you're fogging on the inside - so run the defroster colder.

Either way make sure the A/C is on when defrosting to take out humidity.

Curious what's making the problem worse....I had this problem for a few days as well as feeling a lot of hot air around my legs under the wheel and realized that when I ran my power wire for my amps through the hole in the firewall near the steering column I didn't reseat the boot very well, perhaps that's your issue?

That will make it worse. As mentioned, if it is condensating on the outside of the glass, the defrost is set too cold, so turning up the fan would just make it worse.

Make sure you're set to fresh air, not recirc. On Defrost, the A/C unit will turn on to remove the condensation.

Also, make sure the A/C drain tube is draining outside of the vehicle and not inside. Do you see a puddle under the car after running the A/C?
