Default the dealer crashed my car...pics up on page 4...

here is the story...needed to get the air conditioner and clock panel replaced since it wasnt lighting up..they ordered the wrong part and i had to go back in 3 times before they finally got the correct part today..i dropped it off and waited in the waiting room and then my service guy comes and tells me he has bad news..the porter stepped on the gas instead of the brake when pulling it into the stall and crashed...the whole front grill, bumper and hood is smashed...i will leave the dealer name less for now but i am soo frickin ____ed....car has 10,000 miles on it...sad sad day...i was about to cry when i saw the damage... just wanted to share...any suggestions on what to do?...hopefully they fix it right...

LOL! Wow! A guy that works at a dealership made the gas vs. brake mistake?!?! What a moron!

As for the car, ask them to trade it in for a new tC.

i'd assume they will fix the damages and provide you with a rental car...

i would ask for the OEM ground effects kit as compensation for their stupidity!!! it might work!

That is crazy! I'd push them to fix it and hook you up with something for the trouble. Since it was their fault, they should take care of it.

And then I'd make sure not to go back to that dealership for service.

Wow,

I would of made them give me a new car/trade with comparable miles for crashing my baby! Your resale value just dropped because Car fax will show you had an accident if they report it.

I would trade since your car has some minor scratches and accidents. The dealer would give u a "deal".

Idiot. It is their fault. They owe you a new car, not your car that was wrecked. The guy should be fired for being an idiot. and you should get a new car with low miles.

think about it. Most of us go to the dealer because they know about the car than any shop around ( we hope)

the least they can do is repair it, because if you were driving and someone hit you, it would be their responsibility to fix your car. But because they are the dealer, and you give them the trust that they will take care of you, it should be expected they should do more.

want some acessories that you really wanted but couldnt afford, PUSH them to give it to you for free, seriously.

I would really push for a new car. I mean you brought them a car that was never in an accident, you should leave with a car that was never in an accident. Like they said before, the value will drop because it will show an accident on Carfax. If they are not willing to give you a new ride then start pushing for accessories (lip kit and supercharger!) that will help bring the value back up to where it was before the got their hands on it.
