Yeah so i was at a party and all of the cars in the area around the party got egged... I washed off my car immediately i heard it got egged and then once I got home I wiped it down with some fresh wipes. I think im going to wash my car tomarrow because it still smells like egg. someone is going to pay! Atleast my car needed a little wash anyway. Just makes me mad that people are so low that they egg others cars.

Yeah so if you guys have any ideas on what to clean my car with especially.... i dont know if i have to do anything extra to clean it other than a simple wash. Atleast it didn't scratch anything I HOPE!

nope but know a friend that did and ruined his paint job... good thing u washed it down before it dryed or else things would of been really bad for your car. pathetic people these days..

good luck bro....maybe some bug and tar remover? idk its never happened to me b4....but ive heard that when the egg breaks against the paint....the edges of the cracked shell are so sharp that it will cut through the paint down to the metal.

ps - where on LBK are you? your the first person i've seen from the key on SL...my grandparents have a place at the LBK club.....i love the area...its gorgeous

 

lots of dawn dish washing soap, the liquid kind, get a big bottle(has to be dawn) dump half in your bucket of water, then wash the car in the shade out of the sunlight and let the stuff soak for a few minutes before rinsing it all off, do it several times, washing the mit between washes, then on your last time once it looks like its all off, get a fresh bucket of soapy water and a clean wash mit(not the same one) and rewash, 4 or 5 times should get it all off, remember to hose the mits out after then wash in washing machine

I hear globs of vasoline on the wipers works pretty well.

 

My cars got egged a few months ago and it ruined the paint on the roof of my car!! It DID NOT dry but the egg shell actually chipped the paint on my car. Small circles within circles about the size of a $.50 piece. The wifes suburban was fine after a bath but the eggs hit on her windows.

 

same thing happened to me with the circles of chips. I was ____ed. It was like 20 degrees out when it happened to me too. I had to try to wash it off in a carwash because the 4 eggs were frozen on. Then all the water kept freezing on the car. What a mess.
