Default Denied?

Ok so here's the story for the past couple of months I have recently been going to local car washes due to the decrease of time
available when I get off work I went to three car washes offering them my measly 7 dollars
in change only to be denied several times due to the height of the guide rails. I know what all you pros are thinking that I should wash it by hand but like I mentioned I would except for lack of time. But you would think that the people that designed the places would think about tuners like us before they design the rails. If anyone actually cares enough about what there ride looks like then they probably would perform some suspension mods that would make the car look ten times better. So if your one of thos people that have other people wash there car think about it before you purchase eibach sportlines that cripple your options.

Haha, this is retarded. No derr they wont fit a lowered vehicle. Common sense would tell you that those machines are built for the masses, not some kid in his "tuner car" so the rails are going to be high. If you have time to go to three car washes, you have time to wash your own car.

well not just that.... so dont bash him too much... lol

goes for any vehicle that sits too low for their rails.... I personally would never go through an automatic car wash with my baby even if my lowered suspension would clear the rails (which it wouldnt ).... just the idea of those brushes touching my car and rubbing the dirt around on my clearcoat... .....couldn't stand it.
I'd suggest which is what I use.... is either a hand wash which is my first option... if I dont have time for that.... a self-serve touchless pressure wash where you go around your vehicle and do it yourself.... if you stay far enough back from the finish... you wont damage anything.

what are you lowered on? i am trd shocks and springs and i get through a local car wash all the time without problems.

but if time is an issue, there are car wash services that will come and wash your car while you work or at your house etc.

Drax, I'm shocked you'd send your tC through an autowash. Touchless only for me using the pressure wash and self-service bays, and that's just in winter when I'm afraid of uncoiling the hose at my house for fear of cracking it.

I did take it to a detailing place a few weeks ago, $50 for inside and out, did a good job but not something I want to be paying on the regular.

nah, fletcher's in olney, great touchless car wash.

i used to wash my car all the time, but everytime i do, i just find new scratches or knicks that were not their last time, and i get more and more OCD about it, so i just take it there when i fill up.

then there are a few good people i know who come to my restaurant and wash our cars while on shift. course they do a much better job for a good price. 25 dollars inside and out.

IMO, unless you pay a professional detailer (About $100, 200 depending on how good they are) do it yourself, or leave it dirty. I used to work 6 days a week and save washing my car (a 6 hr job at least, everything getting cleaned) for sunday.)

Ha i pull that shhhit, every car wash, I take it to the exact same place pay for the normal wash and once they try to drive it in the rails they realize its to low and they have to hand wash it. I pay for normal wash and get hand wash. GIGGIDY.

Aside from the car being too low for rails, aren’t you concerned with scratching your rims?

I don’t know what you have in your area, but look for a carwash that doesn’t have rails. I go to a wash where I pull in and park. The wash is completely touch-less and just rotates around the vehicle while spraying.
