I usually say "Hell with it. I'm going through a manual wash and spend about $12.00s for a wash. The one I usually go to is a enclosed too which is great for winter. Not heated but they usually use hot water that steams up the stall so it feels like it. I wish it was open 24-7 so I could do some "nightshift owl" wash & waxing right after work.

Out of three years of ownership, I only driven through 1 automatic wash. And reason is, I was filling up and the "auto-fill" setting didn't stop like it was suppose to. Gas went everywhere on the car. In Wisconsin, theres a law that if you complain & gas station has a car wash, they have to give you a free wash.
