Default Disable Seatbelt Reminder Question

hey guys.

i found the faq section and followed the instructions on how to disable the seatbelt reminder buzzer. well, i got it to the point where it says 'b-off." but the thing is, it still beeps.

is this little cheat to disable the beeping when you're driving without seatbelts and the beep goes crazy or is this to disable the beep when you turn the key from off to on and you don't have your seatbelt on?

cuz when i turn the key from off to on, it still beeps. so i'm guessing it's only to disable it when you're driving about 5 mph and it beeps like crazy??

thanks.

are you talking about the 5 beeps? the FAQ thing is for the seatbelt, not for when you turn the car to on.

oh ok. cuz i thought that cheat was to disable the 5 beeps. i guess not then... darn!

i guess it's to disable the multiple beeps that makes your car seem like it's gonna blow when the car's moving and no seatbelt is worn.

Why not just have your passenger wear their freaken seat belt? Then you wont have to hear it.

it doesn't beep for the passenger side, only the driver side. but i just want to get rid of the 5 beeps in the beginning when you turn the key from off to on cuz sometimes i like to just chill in my car and mess around with my navigation and i don't need it to beep telling me i don't have my seat belt on. i'm not going anywhere.

but i always do wear my seatbelt when the car is moving though. i feel naked without it. it's just that initial 5 beeps that drives me nuts. i don't care about the multiple beeps when you're driving. i always have my seatbelt on so i never hear it anyways.
