do you have to press really far on the clutch to start?
ok, i have the sport pedals from scion installed and i have the scion floor mats. everything was fine, till about a month ago i noticed that i have to really push all the way to the firewall on the clutch for the engine to turn over, otherwise it just won't crank at all.
my legs haven't gotten any shorter, seat is in the same position (actually, i moved it a little closer even), shoes don't change anything for it, the floormat is in the usual correct position. it just seems like i have to push alot more than i used to have to push to get the car started....maybe i can adjust the button sensor somehow....
any thoughts?

Always been to the floor for me. Only thing that made it difficult was the aftermarket universal sport pedals i put on. The screws that came out the back were really long and they were hitting the floor before the pedal was fully depressed. Had to cut them a lot shorter, and now theres no problem.

yeah most cars has to floor it, i had a crx, had to be floored, one time it stopped working and i think my brother tightened up the clutch because afterwards it was tight as hell
would tighten that clutch up a bit work for you? dealer would have the answer

just incase someone doesn't know this, you have to push the clutch to the floor (not just to the friction point) because there is a clutch safety switch that won't let the car start unless the clutch is depressed fully. Just a little bit of info...
