Talking Dqlostsoulz..photobiography*Whoring my *****

Here we go,my baby gurl....

Here is what I have done to my car since I have had her. I brought her In July of 06.
I brought her brand spakin new.:

2007 scion tC in Super White...the journey begins.....

I don't have a picture of the car when I actually got her because I did not become obsessed with her till I started getting on these forums so I will start with pictures of when the obsession began .

The key that turns her on .....

Stage I: White 18x7 et 42 rims wrapped in Nexen tires // Lowered on TRD's // Rear Pedestal Spoiler // Rear Tail Lights by TYC // Tint 5% rear 25% rear sides 35% front // CF B-Pillar Applique // Door Sills //Chrome SCION License Plate Frame

Then added: Red Painted Calipers w/ Scion Decal // TRD rear sway bar //

I started messing with the exterior lights: Blue L.E.D. Parking Lights // Silver Star Ultra 9006 Conversion to 9005 // Halo Fog Lights // LED Plate Lights

Thought it was time to upgrade the interior and the beat: Sparco Shift **** // OBX racing pedals and foot plate // Carpeted/All-Weather Floor mats // Custom LED Interior // Painted Silver Metallic Gauge trim & Door Handles // Megan Short Shifter w/ Cage Bushings // Braodway Mirror 270 Black Metal Convex // SCION Plexi-glass Laser Etched Cubby Panel // Clazzio Seat Covers..ummm my favorite // Pioneer Avic Z3 // Ipod Adapter // Bluetooth // Rockford Fosgate 10" Punch Subwoofer // Rockford Fosgate Amp //

Then I thought, man its time to put in work son! Grabbed the spray can....and did a few exterior and engine work: Painted White Mudguards // Scion Door Handle Overlays // s2k Antenna // Scion tC Oil Cap // White Engine Cover w/ Vinyl Overlays // AEM Battery Tie Down Polished // tC Debadged Painted White and Rebadged // Radiator Diversion Panel by DME // Painted Ebay Front Strut Bar // Tanabe Concept G

Stage II: Did not last to long, but will return in the summer (Rims). You will see why later :Oem Front Lip // JohnnyDesignz Grille Grillez // Bat`s Front Bumper Overlay // F5 Fujita CAI Intake // McGard Spline Drive Red Lug Nuts // J2/410 Mesh Staggered Rims Front:19x8.5 et35 Rear:19x9.5 et40 w/5mm Spacers // Falken 452`s Front:225/35/19 Rear:235/35/19 //

Stage III: Where it is currently at: Front & Rear Drilled/ Slotted Rotors // Ksport Kontrol Coilovers // Painted my white rims GOLD Put in work with that rattle can once again

And these are currently waiting to be installed. Just waiting on my JD lower grill to come in.....

That was fun. So there is where all my money has been going lately. It is an expensive obsession Thanks for looking and I will continue to post up pics as I go.

Thanks playa..gottta keep up with the big dogs on SL This is the gold I used....
http://www.duplicolor.com/products/gold-chrome.html

And as for the clear I used Dupli.color high performance wheel coating.
I removed the center piece and tapped off the rivets and tire.

one more question. did you sand them down or just sprayed over the white? from the pics, yours came out real good and want mine to look just like that, in a different color though.

Here is the process
in which i did...

1. I cleaned the rims really good with greased lightning blast
2. Wet sanded the rim w/600 grit sand paper
3. Then washed it again with greased lightning blast
4. Dried it off with a lint-free cloth
5. Taped up eveything I did not want painted with blue painters tape(xpensive stuff)
6. Then I used dupli.color prep-wipe and wiped off the rim.
7. Sprayed a few light coats waited a few min. in between then went a little heavier with the coats....nice even strokes to prevent drips and sags.
8. Waited a about 10 min after I finished spraying the paint the added several coats of clear.
9. And waaaalaa the finish product !
