dripped a little super glue on my front bumper
i painted my front scion badge black and was glueing it back on when a lil dripped on the bumper. i wiped most of it off, but it left a rough feeling residue. its not that bad, but you can see it at certain angles. will a claybar work? what should i do?

Try nail polish remover first and yes B-E--C-A-R-E-F-U-L! Acetone should be your LAST resort...it will go through your paint really fast. You might try some Bug and Tar Remover spray, it might be just strong enough to break up the glue without damaging the paint. Also be careful not to use too much force, if the glue chips off, it can take the clearcoat AND basecoat with it.

My front emblem on my maxima was all gross and becoming green...I tried everything with no luck. So finally against my instinct I used paint remover...yea...paint remover. A small dab dripped on my bumper running all the way down it, I didn't notice until like an hour later. It started a chain reaction and now there is a nice 1 square foot section right in the middle of my bumper where the paint pealed off.
Needless to say I was ____ed. Just be careful with those chemicals around your paint.

Acetone might work. Like instigator wrote, acetone does evaporate quickly (plus its really cold to the touch after long use from evaporation) apply it on a rag and wipe it down. The acetone will remove your wax and what-not so make sure you polish, wax again get it off. I dont see a problem with it hurting the paint
