Default driving hard!

took my tc up tilden today, mountain roads with spectacular view of bay area. looked at header after going up mountain, orange red from full throttle nearly all the way up, bumping rev limiter on shifts all the way up. on the way down, faded out front brakes toward the bottom of hill because of left foot braking through turns too much. these pads smell soooooo bad when the smoke, must be ceramic, and rotors become orange, but it's really hard to make them smoke. accidently misshifted to early to 2nd once and caught 7k rpm deccelerating at 60 mph, but no biggy, im sure the rev limit is plenty conservative for occasional MILD over revs (nothing past 7.5k) I'm going to bleed out the brake fluid tomorow with synthetic dot 3. it's got 15k miles on it now, going to flush power steering fluid with synthetic fluid and manual transmission with redline mt 90, but I'll still use regular motor oil cuz its got more than enough protection.

I think you have to take them to the dealer to be bled. Theres some other way, I think they call it powerbleeding and the traditional way wont work. Just saying, so dont flame me if you already knew this.

FYI, the rev limiter won't stop the engine from mechanical over-revs (e.g. downshifting too soon)

You should not be "left foot braking" through turns... not picking at you, just some advice. If at all possible you should be braking in a straight line and accelerating through turns. Braking through a hard corner is a sure way to end up ___ forward

left foot breaking is GREAT.. notice it's teh LEFT foot, he's not changing momentum of the car becuase he is still on the gas....

this is a BIG hit with autox cars setup for street use with larger turbo's as your able to keep spooled though the low speed corners

You can do this with any engine once and prolly not destroy it.
Try doing this everyday for a real test.
